Muse Withdrawal [03 Oct 2004|04:28am] mallornwarden After some thought I have decided to withdraw Haldir from T_M as he has been refusing to speak to me for a while now, including being increasingly quiet when it comes to challenge answers. His heads, for now, will remain in T_M though they have been giving me similar problems, and I hope that his withdrawal will take some of the presure off so I can hear them just a bit more. The History of Celeborn and Galadriel (and a great deal of ME history besides!) The big issue is that it includes a hell of allot of other details so it includes a basic overview of allot of Middle-earth history as I figured that to understand why some things happen one must know the wider history. Pup history [28 Jul 2004|10:50pm] mallornwarden [ mood | quixotic ] I actually managed to nail Haldir down and make him tell me something more concrete about his history, mainly because he felt like mentioning it in this week's challenge. This version of Haldir at least is a silvan elf (as in a Nandor elf - one of the Teleri who did not cross the misty mountains in the Great Journey to Valinor) and he has lived in Laurelindórinan (later to become known as Lothlórien) all his life. As such, he remembers Amdír, the king of 'Lórien in the Second Age and Amroth, his son, as well as the reign of Galadriel and Celeborn. You might be able to guess, I've read the History of Celeborn and Galadriel in the Unfinished Tales and frankly, those two did not really settle into 'Lórien perminently until some time during the Third Age. I haven't got a timeline but if Cely!mun or Celebrían!mun wants it I can work it out (and try to tie in the TM!timeline of Cely's past involvement with Elrond too *eep*). 1 comment|post comment

So far they haven't interacted with much more than mythros though there was this interaction on AIM. The Baka is still unsure about letting them into canon T_M RP events but they may still sneak in once in a while. post comment

If you want anything translated into the language, feel free to come to me. Maps [05 Jul 2004|12:00am] vardagilthoniel While on one of my searches of Google I came across this site which has maps. I found of particular interest a map of primordial Arda, one of Aman and, because the Aman one does not show its true shape, one of Númenor. I have been given better ones of Númenor by ulmos_own's mun, located here, here and here. The first and third of those three are better.
